Our first stop was Copley to visit Robert’s parents and friends. We enjoyed spending time together with them and catching up since our last visit...it was Robert's first time home since he started his deployment over a year ago. When we arrived we begged to have the heat turned on – it was cold...in the house! We could swear it was warmer outside. By the time we left, it was hot enough for air conditioning. Our friends Dara and Dan Timmerman came over along with their three children for a nice evening. Corinne enjoyed playing with the kids. Most importantly, we celebrated Robert’s 40th birthday with a trip to The Melting Pot – a lovely fondue restaurant. Corinne figured out the dipping without too much coaching.
