Davina and Corinne took at 28-day journey across America in October.  It was a great trip!  And, yes, we would do it again.  Here are the stats for you number lovers: 14 flights, 4 airlines, 5 states (and a quick trip to Canada), 3 time zones, over 15,000 miles, and way too many airport meals.  From Corinne’s perspective we visited: all four grandparents, 12 aunts and uncles, 2 great-aunts, at least a dozen cousins from ages 2-24, 6 dogs, 4 cats, 1 horse, and a bunch of friends.  By the way, Corinne grew ½ an inch and her feet grew by a shoe size.

The weather was good overall.  Of course, there was rain in Sitka, but that is to be expected.   With our two suitcases at about 47 pounds each we went from place to place with relative ease.  Corinne loved take-off – “Weeeeeeeeee”.  The portable DVD player was definitely a good investment.  We hope you enjoy the photos!  If we missed you during this visit, there’s always next time …
