We traveled to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware and joined Davina’s family for some beach fun and the continuation of the 50th anniversary celebration. Our group was 20 strong including Davina’s parents, her brother Michael and his wife Klaudia, their children Ryan, Skye, and Misty, Ryan’s wife Tanya and their daughters Adriana and Melody, Skye’s husband Ian, Davina’s sisters Katherine, Gloria, and Jeanne, Jeanne’s boyfriend Dominic, and family friends Mara and Tyler.

We enjoyed time on the beach building sand castles, chasing seagulls, and flying kites. Corinne wasn’t too keen on going into the ocean so we stayed pretty dry. Everyone did their own thing during the day and then most nights we had dinner together finding space wherever we could to sit, eat, and socialize.

Corinne (and Robert) loved Fun Land and all of the great rides. Corinne wanted to keep going and going and going. And, of course, her parents obliged. We also enjoyed a bike ride on the boardwalk with our surrey with the fringe on top. We look forward to our next trip to the beach. Maybe we’ll give the ocean another chance!
