Well we had a dog-gone good time at Corinne’s 3rd birthday party this year.  When the time came for the start of the party and no one had arrived we wondered if we had the wrong day, but everyone eventually showed up.  The snow slowed them down a bit.  As you can see from the photos it was a dog theme complete with dog and dog house cake.  (Does the dog look vaguely familiar??)  We invited some of our friends over to celebrate with us.  Corinne enjoyed answering the door and welcoming her guests.  We played bingo and also had a piñata.  It was a hit – literally.  Fortunately, it came with strings to pull as well since none of the guests had a strong enough swing.

In addition to cold cuts, fruits, and veggies, we had hot dogs, corn dogs, and dog bone cookies.  And did we mention the punch in the dog water container.  The children also enjoyed their puppy ears and goodie boxes.  The party was fun and went much too quickly.  There wasn’t even time to open gifts during the party so Corinne opened them afterwards with Cousin Kelly and Marian.  Overall we had a great time and look forward to the next party!
