Well February finally arrived and Corinne and Davina started counting down to Robert’s return the third week of February. On the morning of Thursday, February 5th Davina was relaxing and reading in bed while Corinne was still sleeping. With nowhere to go until later in the day, there was no rush to get up and go. Just before 8AM there was a light knock at the door from the bedroom to the patio. Davina put down her book and looked through the curtain – it was Robert! He was home two weeks early. Yeah! His replacement arrived early so he came home early. Davina was indescribably happy. After talking for a bit, Robert wanted to go wake Corinne. We went down to her room and he started saying good morning to her. When she started to wake up a smile came across her face and she said “hi, Daddy”. It was wonderful to be together again. Robert had a few weeks off before going back to work so we have been spending time together at home and also went to Berlin for a week.
