June was a month spent close to home.  For Robert’s birthday in May we bought him a Duplo train set...he is having fun with it (and so is Corinne).  J  We also enjoyed a great harvest from the strawberry patch.  Robert helped our neighbor Ernst re-position the wall of a flower bed.  Apparently, Robert moved too fast and it didn’t take them long enough to do the job.  Ilse, his wife, made us a wonderful dinner of sauerkraut and bratwurst.  Corinne enjoyed the German specialties.  We enjoyed two zoos in June - one close to our house and one about 30 minutes from us.  Our neighbor Ernst accompanied us to the zoo near our house.  Both days were beautiful and Corinne liked seeing the animals and playing on the playgrounds.  Finally in June we said goodbye to our good friends the Blooms.  We look forward to visiting them in England.
